We have a simple, but robust mission: to produce Alaska’s finest cannabis and offer it to our customers at competitive prices with superior customer service and a unique shopping experience. We want to lead Alaska’s cannabis industry as a role model for other businesses. We practice 100% compliance 100% of the time. In fact, regulatory compliance is one of our company’s core values.

A Message from the CEO

Great Northern Cannabis is a leader in Alaska’s regulated cannabis industry, and our company continues to be one of the fastest-growing in the state. Our state-of-the-art cultivation facility is producing an average of 120 pounds per month of quality cannabis, which can be purchased at our upscale retail store in downtown Anchorage. Located at 541 W. 4th Ave. across the street from the Anchorage Visitors Center, our downtown retail store is one of the finest in the country, and it boasts a wide variety of quality products with some of the best prices in Alaska. Whether you are interested in quality bud, pre-rolled joints, delicious edibles, glassware, accessories, cannabis books, or apparel, you’ll find it at the Great Northern Cannabis retail store.

I am also pleased to announce the anticipated opening of our second retail store in late October.

The new store will be located in Anchorage at 1901 W. Dimond Boulevard, across the street from Fred Meyer and the Burlington Coat Factory. Like our downtown location, the new store on W. Dimond Boulevard will offer an upscale luxurious shopping experience with unique architecture that includes curved walls, custom display cases, beautiful lighting, and much more. Plenty of parking spaces will also be available in its large parking lot.

In addition, Great Northern Cannabis is beginning construction on its new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, which will be located on Arctic Boulevard. The new manufacturing facility will utilize multiple oil extraction methods to produce a variety of high-quality products, and it will be equipped to process large quantities of cannabis. Also housed at the Arctic Boulevard location, our new commercial kitchen will produce some of the finest cannabis-infused delicacies in Alaska. We expect our new manufacturing and commercial kitchen facility to open in Q1, 2019.

Great Northern Cannabis is also planning the construction of a second cultivation facility in its large Arctic Boulevard building. Construction is expected to begin in Q4, 2018, and the facility is expected to begin operations in Q2, 2019.

I am also pleased to announce that Great Northern Cannabis will be opening more retail stores. Our company is already seeking out locations for three additional retail stores, which we plan to open in 2019.

As the growth continues, our company also remains ever committed to regulatory compliance and to setting the bar for our industry as a responsible operator. We strive for 100% compliance 100% of the time – that’s our goal. In addition, Great Northern Cannabis is committed to being a good neighbor; and as such, we continue to participate in community engagement efforts.

I’d also like to recognize the amazing staff of Great Northern Cannabis. The Great Northern family is committed to providing quality products, excellent customer service, and a unique cannabis shopping experience unlike any other in Alaska.

Keep checking back for more information about our company and the expansion of its operations.
